Apple has officially launched the iPhone 16e globally, making it the most affordable model in the iPhone 16 lineup.
Now, let’s dive into the specifications of this smartphone.
The iPhone 16e features a 6.1-inch Full HD+ Super Retina XDR OLED display with up to 1200 nits of peak brightness and Ceramic Shield glass protection on top.
Under the hood, it is powered by Appleās latest A18 chipset, paired with a 4-core Apple GPU for smooth performance.
In terms of storage, the phone comes with 8GB of RAM and offers three storage options: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
Moving to the cameras, the iPhone 16e sports a single 48-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.6 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS) for steady shots and videos. The rear camera is also capable of recording 8K videos at 30 frames per second.
For selfies, it features a 12-megapixel front camera housed in a wide notch at the top center, with an f/1.9 aperture. Both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording at 60 frames per second.
On the software side, the smartphone runs on the latest iOS 18 out of the box.
Additionally, it includes Face ID authentication for security and is IP68-certified for dust and water resistance.
In terms of connectivity, the iPhone 16e supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and comes with a Type-C charging port. It also supports wireless charging.
As for the dimensions, the smartphone measures 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.8mm and weighs around 167 grams.

The iPhone 16e will be available for pre-order starting February 28 in two color options: Black and White.
