Xiaomi has quietly expanded its affordable smartphone portfolio by introducing the Redmi 17C in China. The latest entry-level handset arrives with a refreshed design, a high refresh rate display, a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra processor, and a large battery aimed at users who prioritize long-lasting performance on a budget.

The new Redmi smartphone also boots Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS 3, based on Android 16, bringing updated software features and system optimizations.

Redmi 17C Price and Availability

The Redmi 17C is available in two storage configurations in the Chinese market.

  • 4GB + 64GB: CNY 799 (around Rs. 11,500)
  • 4GB + 128GB: CNY 899 (around Rs. 13,000)

Customers can choose from Black, Blue, and Red colour options. Xiaomi has not yet announced whether the smartphone will be launched in India or other global markets.

For photography, Xiaomi has equipped the Redmi 17C with a 13-megapixel rear camera supported by an LED flash. The camera includes AI-powered imaging features for improved photo quality in different lighting conditions.
